As pastor of Springfield Baptist Church, my vision for our church is that we will, above all else, remain committed to the Bible as authoritative for faith and practice. With a strong Biblical foundation, we will emphasize and prioritize ourselves toward being a Bible teaching church. This will involve encouraging a greater knowledge of scripture for all of our members and attenders through worship and small group events.

Secondly, we will encourage fellowship with one another. This would include communion, praying together, praising God together through worship, sharing meals, sports teams, outings, etc.

Thirdly, as a Biblical church, we will emphasize evangelism. In our ministries and programs, we will attempt to clearly communicate the redemptive nature of God and His plan for our world through His Son, Jesus Christ. I believe it is important that a church not over-emphasize any of these experiences at the expense of another. A Biblical church should be a balanced church providing opportunities to learn, fellowship and evangelize.

If you would agree that these are important dimensions of Biblical Christianity, I would invite you to come visit our church.

In Christian Love, Pastor Larry
